About the Role

Muro Coffee is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team in the Central Region. As a Baker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality baked goods to delight our customers and support the growth of our thriving coffee shop business. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and advancement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes and other baked goods

• Ensure all baked goods are visually appealing, consistently sized and of the highest quality

• Develop new recipes and improve existing offerings

• Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

• Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies

• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries about our baked goods

• Having coffee making knowledge and experience will be a plus

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience as a Baker or Assistant Baker, home baker with proof can also apply

• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes and industry trends

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team

• Passion for creating delicious baked goods and a commitment to quality

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Relevant food safety and hygiene certifications
