Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on with Golang and production systems.
• Nice-to-have Java experience (beginner to intermediate).
• Strong understanding of concurrency, memory profiling, and performance tuning.
• Design RESTful APIs and system-to-system integrations.
• Solid SQL with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.
• Experience with event streaming (Kafka) and real-time comms (WebSockets).
• Debugging production issues with practical on-call mindset.
• Cloud-native deployments on Azure or AWS.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of system design, scalability, and failure handling.
• Experience in high-traffic or real-time platforms.
• Mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Observability tools such as Datadog or Sentry.
• Experience in EV charging, mobility, or IoT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend architecture and system & solution design.
• Own end-to-end delivery of backend services.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance and security.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and design reviews.
• Improve database performance, indexing, query efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Lead production incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous systems.
• Work with DevOps on deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
• Balance speedy delivery with long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical initiatives across teams.
