Job description

We are seeking 4 Singaporeans with Hands-on experience in backend infrastructure operations or engineering, proficient in managing and maintaining systems on both Ubuntu and Windows Server 2022, including server deployments, security configurations, patching, and backend service support to join our new project.

What you'll be doing

1. Install, test, and implement systems in accordance with specifications and service level requirements, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
2. Manage systems changes using an established change request process, including assessing the impact, obtaining necessary approvals, and communicating status updates to multiple stakeholders.
3. Conduct root cause analysis for system issues and proactively implement measures to prevent recurrence. Continuously monitor the effectiveness of implemented measures and make adjustments as necessary.
4. Develop and implement comprehensive service continuity measures, including robust backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plans, to ensure uninterrupted business operations in the event of disruption.
5. Provide expert technical advice and guidance on systems to customers and project teams, assisting them in making informed decisions and resolving complex technical issues.
6. Good to have troubleshooting skills and resolving issues related to PSIM (Physical Security Information System), CCTV surveillance systems, access control, alarm & intrusion systems, and network infrastructure.
7. Must have backend system configuration and setup skill sets & experience as below:
   Perform CIS hardening for Windows and Linux Server
   Perform configuration of Linux Server
   User account with limited privilege (sudoers)
   SSH account (sshd_config)
   Password control (chage/passwd)
   Server restoration with REAR
   Perform basic computer and network maintenance

What we're looking for

• Only Singapore citizen need to apply as Cat 2A security clearance is required for this project.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in backend systems configuration
• Hands on experience with Ubuntu, Windows Server 2022, Redhat Linux (On Cloud), Networking
• You should be comfortable to travel to clients sites as per project required
• Recognized qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Information Technology
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
