Autodesk in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated software engineer to join the PSET-Access group. You will design, build, and operate production backend services primarily using Java or Go, with ownership of defined components.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, security, and developer experience. This role offers opportunities to grow technical depth, work on access-management capabilities, and contribute to secure, scalable systems used across Autodesk products

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Software development experience with Java or Go as a primary language.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, APIs, testing, debugging, and version control.
• Ability to understand an existing codebase and make safe, maintainable changes.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or similar production environments.
• Clear communication and collaboration with other engineers; ownership of tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain production-quality backend software, primarily using Java or Go.
• Deliver well-scoped features and technical improvements with increasing independence.
• Build and improve services, APIs, libraries, and tooling that support access-related workflows.
• Write clear, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code/design reviews.
• Debug production issues and perform root-cause analysis across services and system boundaries.
• Improve system reliability, observability, performance, security, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to technical docs, runbooks, and engineering standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and simplify systems.
