Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Desktop Software Engineer to help build and evolve the platform capabilities powering Autodesk's Product Access domain. You will design and maintain secure software for Windows, macOS, and Linux, collaborating with engineers to deliver high-quality releases.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and the use of AI-assisted development tools to improve workflows and productivity. This is a hands-on, fast-moving engineering position in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to move work forward independently.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, reliable, and cross-platform software across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Investigate technical challenges and develop practical solutions with quality and security in mind.
• Build automated tests and contribute to CI/CD practices for frequent, high-quality releases.
• Improve existing systems by reducing technical debt and enhancing software quality.
• Collaborate with teammates through design reviews, code reviews, and sound engineering practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve workflows, automation, and productivity.
• Take ownership of assigned work and communicate progress, risks, and challenges clearly.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and contribute to improvements across the Product Access platform.
