Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Backend Software Engineer for Business Integrity in Singapore to build data-driven back-end services, enforce content integrity, and support monetization initiatives. You will contribute to the core platform powering ad quality and advertiser trust across global teams.

Ideal candidates have a B.Sc or higher in Computer Science, strong programming skills in Go/Python/Java/C/C++, and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Solid programming capabilities and good coding style.
• Familiarity with Go, Python, Java, C or C++.
• Pragmatic understanding of data structures, algorithms, networks, data security and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineer the infrastructure for advertisement quality control case analysis and machine learning model training to enforce content integrity.
• Build products to enhance advertiser experience and enforce actor integrity.
• Design and build data-driven applications to help local and global partners monetize opportunities.
• Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services.

In Singapore we focus on two pillars of business integrity: data foundation and advertiser experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineering the infrastructure for advertisement quality control case analysis and machine learning model training to enforce content integrity
• Building products to enhance the trust between advertisers and TikTok improve advertiser experience and enforce actor integrity
• Design and build data-driven applications to help both local and global partners to unlock monetization opportunities
• Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services
• B.Sc or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields from accredited and reputable institutions
• Solid programming capabilities exhibits good code design and coding style.
• Familiarity with at least one of the programming languages: Go Python Java C or C++
• Pragmatic understanding of data structure algorithm design and analysis networking data security and distributed system
• At least 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred Requirement

• Working experience in advertisement technology or business integrity
