We are a team dedicated to designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for various ventures and projects, particularly those adjacent to our core businesses and rapidly bootstrapped with a lean team. You will be actively involved in designing components for scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operation Development and Testing
a. Engage in requirements analysis, system design, and undertake part of the development work within the technical team.
b. Write and refine integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability of software.
c. Build close relationships with different operation teams to continuously improve operational efficiency.
- Customer Support and Problem Resolution
a. Act as the primary technical contact for resolving issues encountered by the
Crypto.com Card project in production, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
b. Participate in the daily work of the Customer Support team, promptly handling issues submitted by users.
c. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of upstream and downstream business services related to derivatives trading, including onboarding, pricing, and trading, to analyze and locate problems quickly. Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
d. Regularly analyze encountered problems, translate them into business requirements, and communicate with the Project Manager and developers for product improvements.
- System Reliability and Maintenance
a. Collaborate with the SRE team to develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms, identify potential issues early, and prevent system failures.
b. Provide system upgrade and optimization plans to enhance performance and reliability.
c. Coordinate with infra, SRE, and other relevant teams during system failures to troubleshoot and minimize downtime.
- Work Schedule
a. Flexibility to work shifts covering both Asia and EST time zones, including day/night shifts, based on operational needs.

Potential for day/night shifts depending on operational requirements.
Requirements
- Familiarity with payment card domain knowledge.
- Experience in DevOps, especially with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid experience with Linux environments and relevant support tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems such as Datadog, Sumologic, OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD is a plus.
- Experience with shell scripting, Ruby, Golang, and SQL technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and proactive issue identification.
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
- Proactive, positive attitude, and a 'can-do' mindset.
- Additional desirable skills include experience with version control systems (Git), SDLC processes, automation, and quick learning aptitude.
