Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer in Singapore to design, build, and scale backend infrastructure powering AI-driven recommendation systems.

You will work on production-grade ML serving platforms, optimize model performance, and develop highly available, low-latency systems for personalized user experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building and scaling recommendation systems.
• Production ML model serving with Kubernetes, Docker, Ray Serve.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and scalable backend architecture.
• Familiarity with MLOps and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Experience with recommendation pipelines, feature stores, model serving, ranking engines, or A/B testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of LLM inference optimization (TensorRT, Flash Attention, Quantization) is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
