Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years backend dev experience with production ownership.
• Strong C# and .NET Core/.NET experience.
• RESTful API design and backend system design.
• SQL optimisation and relational databases.
• Ability to write clean, thread-safe code and scale for fault tolerance.
• Experience diagnosing production incidents and fixes.
• Clear cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Build workflows for configuration, operational controls, data processing, and platform integrations.
• Own technical design and delivery for complex features, including reviews, testing, and rollout.
• Improve service performance, queries, concurrency, and availability.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps to deliver backend features.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards.
