Job summary

TikTok is seeking graduates to join the Singapore messaging team, focusing on backend development for core messaging features including Streak, Stickers, and Voice/Video Call. You will contribute to server-side architecture and data management, aiming to deliver robust, scalable messaging experiences.

Successful candidates should be able to commit to an onboarding date by year-end and clearly state their graduation date in the resume.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required or recently completed.
Strong logical analysis and system abstraction abilities.
Familiar with AI coding tools; interest or experience with AI skills/agents is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the backend development and iteration of TikTok Messaging in the Singapore team, building and evolving server-side capabilities for Streak, Stickers, Voice & Video Call, and other core messaging features.
Build and maintain server-side IM infrastructure (IMCloud), including cloud-based data management and cross-datacenter synchronization, ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.
Explore next-generation messaging experiences powered by LLM and AIGC, including chatbots, AI-powered stickers, and personalized features.
Continuously improve performance, stability, and scalability of the Messaging system under high concurrency.
