Job summary

Binance's Know Your Customer Technology Team is building a large-scale KYC platform with a focus on AI/ML, security, and regulatory compliance across time zones. The role centers on backend services, high-throughput distributed systems, and collaboration with international partners.

You will write high-quality Java code using Spring, optimize performance, and contribute to a remote-first engineering culture with strong documentation and mentoring. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in building high-throughput distributed applications.
• Proficient in core Java and the Spring Framework.
• Proficient in MySQL, and familiar with at least one NoSQL database.
• Proficient in distributed system design and familiar with messaging middleware.
• English and Mandarin bilingual to coordinate with overseas partners.
• Able to collaborate with remote teams across different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements into services with solid code and tests.
• Proactively initiate performance tuning and troubleshoot incidents.
• Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Write high quality code and advocate for engineering excellence.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers.
