The NDRE (Network Development and Reliability Engineering) team is responsible for Shopee and Monee's network infrastructure. Our mission is to maintain and enhance the stability, availability, and manageability of the network infrastructure through software development and standard processes.

Job Description:

• Monitor Shopee & Monee’s backbone network, data center network, and related networks.
• Ensure rapid detection, notification, localization, and resolution of network faults to maintain application stability and availability.
• Propose and implement standard designs and optimizations for network architecture.
• Improve visibility of network infrastructure by refining standard processes.
• Collect and establish databases for network devices, links, and configurations.
• Set up accurate and automated network alerts and notifications using software tools.

Requirements:

• Passionate about coding, innovation, and solving challenging problems.
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, software architecture).
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language: Go, Python, or C.
• Strong logical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Major in Networking-related fields.
• Relevant internship experience.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Published papers at conferences like USENIX NSDI, ACM SIGCOMM, IEEE INFOCOM, or similar.
