ARYAN SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is looking for a Backend Engineer (AWS) to design, develop and operate cloud-native applications for a regulated-sector programme in Singapore.

You will build RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integrations on AWS alongside Docker and Kubernetes. As part of Agile delivery teams, you will contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines, optimise database queries, and implement secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js or Java.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architecture.
• AWS cloud-native development.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• GitLab, CI/CD and Agile practices.

About the role

We are hiring a Backend Engineer (AWS) to build and run enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications on AWS for a regulated-sector programme in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices and backend integration services
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimise queries
• Build event-driven integrations using message queues
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes
• Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines within Agile delivery teams
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues

• Employment type: Contract / Permanent / Full Time
• Working days: Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance before starting
• Candidates with existing CAT security clearance will be preferred
