Job summary

Helius Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a highly skilled backend engineer to architect, build and scale microservices using Java Spring Boot and Python Django/FastAPI. You will design robust systems and deliver clean, maintainable code for core data services and APIs.

You will collaborate closely with frontend teams, implement thorough testing, and contribute to DevOps practices with CI/CD and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data) and Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.

• 3. Database Management: Deep understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and comfort with NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• 4. API Development: Experience building, documenting (Swagger/OpenAPI), and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• 5. Version Control & Tools: Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, PyTest/JUnit, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
