Job summary

Jet Aviation Singapore is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site maintenance team. The role focuses on keeping aircraft safe, airworthy, and ready for takeoff, with a strong emphasis on precise certification and engineering responsibilities under Part 145.

You will work within a collaborative team, following aviation regulations and customer requirements, delivering quality work in a hangar and on the ramp.

Qualifications

• Valid B2 license holder with no limitations (CAAS or EASA preferred).
• Aircraft type rating on Gulfstream, BBJ or ACJ preferred.
• English language capability to read and understand maintenance, safety or quality manuals.
• Effective communication skills to exchange technical information.
• Ability to manage priorities of the job effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as an appointed B-level Avionics Engineer, undertaking certification and engineering responsibilities in accordance with company procedures.
• Oversee and ensure all maintenance activities, records, and certifications are completed accurately and in compliance with approved procedures.
• Lead daily pre-start meetings and coordinate crew briefings.
• Plan, direct, and supervise line and hangar maintenance operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and tool control procedures.
• Manage crew handovers, including clear communication and completion of handover documentation.
• Monitor the serviceability of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and report any defects for corrective action.
• Support technical troubleshooting, defect analysis, and investigations, including drafting aircraft malfunction reports.
• Provide regular updates to management on routine and non-routine maintenance matters.
• Ensure security of company premises, including end-of-day checks and proper lock-up procedures.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with Quality and Safety teams on audits, investigations, and human factors initiatives.
• Promote and uphold a strong safety-first culture within the technical workforce.
• Adhere to company policies, including Code of Conduct, safety regulations, and security clearance requirements.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to support operational and program success, including raising work requests as required.
