Job summary

Sonata Software seeks an experienced Advisory Architect to guide customers on Azure-based modernization. You will design cloud architectures, define governance models, and help clients adopt cloud practices across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires deep Azure expertise, executive communication, and a track record delivering complex enterprise projects for government or large businesses. Singapore-based remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of Azure infrastructure with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Deep understanding of Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with Cloud Adoption Framework and concepts.
• 15+ years in customer-facing roles in systems architecture or consulting.
• Advanced Microsoft certifications preferred.
• BA/BS in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Broad knowledge of Azure infrastructure with deepunderstanding of the following:

• Well architected framework (and implementation ofconcepts)
• Cloud adoption framework (and implementation of concepts)
• Well rounded skills in other general areas of Azureinfrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc)

Nice to have:

• Understanding of competitor virtual desktop solutions andmigration from VMware Horizon to AVD.
• Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures,architecture designs, and technology management.
• 15+ years experience with customer facing roles insystems architecture, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premisesand cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base, andadvanced troubleshooting
• Understanding of Microsoft’s Modern IT Architecture andStrategy
• Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying,operating, and optimizing cloud

Candidates must be able to work independently.

Characteristics of importance include but are not limitedto customer service, problem solving, communication skills, and the ability toread/interpret the needs/wants of customer executives and leaders.

Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred.

BA/BS (or higher) in Information Technology or equivalentexperience
