Job summary

Argyll Scott partners with a multinational organisation to appoint an experienced Azure Data Platform Architect to lead the architecture and strategic development of its enterprise Data platform and AI capabilities. The role focuses on defining scalable, secure architectures, assessing existing capabilities and driving the adoption of modern Data and AI technologies across a complex business landscape.

You will engage stakeholders, shape roadmaps and set technical standards for data engineering,

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Cloud, Data or AI Platform Architecture.
Expertise in Microsoft Azure data platforms (Synapse, Databricks).
Knowledge of AI platform architecture and enterprise AI/ML capabilities.
Experience in large multinational organisations.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Understanding of cloud security, governance and FinOps.

Responsibilities

Define architecture and roadmap for enterprise Data and AI platforms with a focus on Azure.
Engage business and technology stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps.
Design scalable, secure, reusable platform architectures with standards.
Provide guidance on platform integration, security, governance and cost optimisation.
Collaborate with internal teams and partners to translate requirements into solutions.
