Job summary

NCS Group is looking for a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role involves deploying applications on Azure Kubernetes Service and ensuring the reliability and security of cloud services.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure and a basic understanding of containerized applications and networking fundamentals.

Qualifications

Basic experience with Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or any container orchestrator platform.
Understanding of Docker containers and how to build, create and manage containers.
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as Pods, Services, Deployments, Statefulsets, ConfigMaps.
Experience deploying applications in container environments.
Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, Subnets, Routing, Firewall rules.

Responsibilities

Assist in provisioning and maintaining cloud resources on Microsoft Azure.
Support the setup and configuration of services such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Storage.
Assist in managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
Deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts.
Monitor system health and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
