About the Role

As part of our AI-driven transformation strategy, we are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to build, manage, and optimize our cloud infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and high-performance AI and enterprise applications. You will play a pivotal role in implementing Azure-based solutions that align with our cloud modernization, AI/ML workloads, and data platform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure using services such as Azure VMs, App Services, Functions, AKS, and Networking.
  Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other tools.
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance in cloud deployments (e.g., Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, RBAC, Key Vault).
  Collaborate with AI consultants, data engineers, and DevOps teams to support model deployment, inferencing pipelines, and GPU-based compute.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs, performance, and resource utilization using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning, backup solutions, and business continuity configurations.
• Support the integration of cloud-native AI services like Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning.

Requirements

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of core Azure services: VNet, NSG, Storage, App Gateway, Load Balancer, Azure AD.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, preferably AKS).
• Experience with monitoring tools and operational logging (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).

Good to Have

• Exposure to AI/ML workflows in Azure (Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, GPU-based VM setup).
• Certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and zero-trust principles.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud, private link, and ExpressRoute setup
