Job summary

SAGL Consulting in Singapore seeks an AWS Cloud & Systems Engineer to provide second-level infrastructure support across AWS, Windows, and Linux in a managed services setting.

You will administer EC2, manage IAM, patch and harden systems, and ensure uptime while documenting procedures and driving security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure operations.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on AWS and Windows/Linux infrastructure operations.
• Proven expertise in AWS EC2 administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS and AWS SysOps Associate certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain AWS EC2 and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Perform Windows and Linux server administration, troubleshooting issues to maintain system stability.
• Execute operating system patching and security hardening to protect infrastructure integrity.
• Manage AWS IAM and access controls to enforce security policies and operational compliance.
• Support backup, recovery, and restoration operations to safeguard data availability and integrity.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests to minimize downtime.
• Execute approved infrastructure changes following change management procedures to maintain system stability.
• Troubleshoot operational issues across AWS, Windows, and Linux platforms to ensure continuous service.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and incident records for knowledge sharing and compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification


• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification
