Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced AWS infrastructure professional to ensure uptime, performance and reliability of cloud environments. The role emphasizes incident resolution, disaster recovery, and cost governance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cloud operations with strong AWS service knowledge, IaC experience, and Docker/Kubernetes familiarity. This on-site Singapore position collaborates with DevOps teams to support deployments and security best practices.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5+ years in infrastructure/cloud operations with 4+ years AWS hands-on experience.
Strong experience in AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
Linux/Unix administration experience.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Containers (Docker / Kubernetes / EKS) – preferred.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles.
AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate (Mandatory)

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of AWS infrastructure ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability.
Monitor environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail and resolve incidents with RCA.
Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover mechanisms.
Automate operational tasks using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or scripting.
Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB, Auto Scaling.
Enforce security best practices (IAM, patching, encryption, vulnerability management).
Support deployments and CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams.
Optimize cloud usage and costs through rightsizing and governance.
