Job summary

WORLD PARTNERS SOLUTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Day-2 Cloud / Cloud Operations Engineer to support production AWS environments in Singapore. You will respond to incidents, conduct RCA, and provide timely updates to stakeholders while working in a governance-focused setting in line with GCC obligations.

Key duties include on-call rotation, proactive monitoring, cross-team collaboration, and ITIL-aligned change management. Strong troubleshooting mindset and GovCare experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant Day-2 Cloud / Cloud Operations experience supporting production AWS environments.
• Solid working knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB, RDS).
• Hands-on ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management experience in a managed-services or operations context.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Singapore Government accounts.
• GCC (Government Commercial Cloud) experience and governance familiarity.
• Willingness to participate in standby/on-call and shift rotas.

Responsibilities

• Respond to, triage, and resolve incidents within contracted SLAs, owning tickets from detection to resolution.
• Drive root-cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews for major incidents.
• Provide clear, timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders throughout incident lifecycles.
• Serve on the standby/on-call rota and respond promptly to monitoring alerts.
• Proactively monitor dashboards to detect issues before service impact and tune alert thresholds.
• Collaborate with cross-team engineering groups to diagnose and resolve multi-domain issues.
• Perform day-to-day operational support of AWS environments (EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, patching, backups).
• Follow ITIL change management processes and support governance and audit posture.
• Contribute to problem management and continuous service-improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and improve runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles.
• Adhere to Singapore Government security requirements (e.g., IM8) and GCC governance.
