Job summary

1M Technology is seeking a hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer to ensure reliability, security and performance of our cloud platform in Singapore. You will support production systems across web apps, edge delivery, cloud infrastructure, container platforms and distributed services.

Work closely with Software Engineering, DevOps and Product teams to solve production challenges, improve the platform, and maintain high availability while adhering to security best practices.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of modern web technologies and end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cloudflare and CDN configurations (Workers, rulesets).
• Proficiency in AWS networking and services (ALB/NLB, API Gateway, Cloud Map, DNS).
• Experience with AWS compute and containers (EC2, ECS, Docker images).
• Experience with data and messaging services (RDS, MongoDB, queues).
• Linux production experience; security-first mindset; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for infrastructure and rapid incident recovery.
• Operate and improve the cloud platform for security, scalability and high availability.
• Own production troubleshooting across the full request lifecycle from browser to backend.
• Support Linux-based production environments, container platforms and distributed services on AWS ECS.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams, understand CI/CD workflows and assist with deployment-related production issues.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer responsible for the reliability, security and performance of our cloud platform. You will support production systems spanning web applications, edge delivery, cloud infrastructure, container platforms and distributed services, and work closely with Software Engineering, DevOps and Product teams to solve production challenges and keep improving the platform.

Work Arrangement

This role is Singapore-based, with regular business attachments to our Kuala Lumpur office. Rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, may apply.

What You Will Do

• Provide Level 1 support for company infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and fast recovery from incidents.
• Operate and continuously improve the infrastructure so the cloud platform stays secure, scalable and highly available.
• Own production troubleshooting across the full request lifecycle, from browser to backend services.
• Support Linux-based production environments, container platforms and distributed application services on the AWS ECS ecosystem.
• Work with DevOps teams, understand CI/CD workflows and assist with deployment-related production issues.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of modern web technologies; able to troubleshoot from web functionality through to end-to-end infrastructure.
• Cloudflare and CDN experience (Workers, rulesets).
• AWS networking: ALB, NLB, API Gateway, Cloud Map, DNS.
• AWS compute and containers: EC2, ECS, Docker image creation and management.
• Data and messaging services: RDS, MongoDB, message queues.
• Linux production experience.
• Engineering judgement, curiosity and a security-first mindset; able to explain technical trade-offs.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good English, written and spoken.

• Chinese language ability is an advantage.
