Job description

Business Function:

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with countries Institutional Banking Group (IBG) segments and industries to understand the business drivers and performance
  • Support business in strategic business planning and client profitability
  • MIS reporting, including budgeting, forward-looking forecasting, close partnership with GFPA to support management reviews and disclosure
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met
  • Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impact
  • Engage in transformation projects and participate in cross-functional collaboration to drive project solutions, implement and test of system solutions
  • Provide strong oversight of various financial controls, measurements and systems, including account ownership and timely completion of risk and controls checks.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Finance / Accounting
  • 10 years of relevant work experience. Prior IBG experience will be a plus
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Knowledge in data analytical systems (ie Qlikview, Tableau etc) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are must-have traits
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
