United Overseas Bank Limited is seeking a Junior Client Advisor to lead the development of Privilege client relationships and provide tailored financial advisory and investment solutions to affluent clients. You will work across markets including Malaysia, North Asia, Thailand, and Indonesia, ensuring compliant advisory processes and timely recommendations.

The role requires a university degree and 3–8 years in banking/finance, with strong sales drive and wealth management knowledge.

• Strong advisory skills and good product knowledge of wealth management & investment products.
• Experience in banking/financial industry (3–8 years).
• Familiarity with AML/KYC processes within retail banking is preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong sales drive and energy.
• Relevant accreditation (M1B, M2B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and grow Privilege client relationships as the lead manager.
• Provide financial advisory services and investment solutions to affluent clients across multiple markets (Malaysia, North Asia, Thailand, Indonesia).
• Provide customers with timely information, advice and recommendations to fit their requirements.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships as a key success factor.
• Ensure advisory procedures and documentation comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (FAA and related Acts).

Job Description

You will be part of a group of highly trained financial professionals. You will be trained in the UOB Privilege Client Engagement Process and be our lead manager in developing and growing our Privilege client relationships. You will be required to provide financial advisory services as well as appropriate financial and investment solutions and advice to our affluent and high networth clients in various market segments. You will provide customers with timely information, advice and recommendations to fit their requirements. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with your clients is a key factor for success in this role.

• You will be trained in the UOB Privilege Client Engagement Process and be our lead manager in developing and growing our Privilege client relationships.

• Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the Bank’s internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements (i.e. FAA and other related statutory Acts)

Job Requirements

• A recognized university degree.

• At least 3 - 8 years of relevant experience in the banking / financial industry, experienced in financial & investment product sales for Junior Client Advisor role.

• Strong advisory skill and possess with good product knowledge of wealth management & investment products.

• Candidates with prior experience and knowledge in AML/KYC processes within the retail banking sector are preferred.

• Self-motivated, with strong sales drive & energy.

• Possess relevant accreditation (M1B, M2B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI)
