Job Description

We are seeking a strong auditor who is well versed with regulatory requirements such as MAS637 on risk-based capital adequacy and IFRS9. The role includes independent review of credit risk models and credit stress testing.

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct internal audit activities effectively in accordance with established Group Audit methodology and regulatory requirements, benchmarking industry standards.
2. Lead and execute audits independently, covering audit planning, fieldwork, findings & recommendations, reporting, and follow-up.
3. Perform audits across a wide range of MAS regulatory requirements, including MAS637-Pillar I, II & III, and IFRS9.
4. Generate continuous insights on emerging risks outside routine audits.
5. Utilize data analytic tools to evaluate internal controls and identify material concerns.
6. Provide advisory and strategic support aligned with the Group Audit’s plans and initiatives for sustainable growth.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics/statistics with 12-15 years of relevant experience in financial institutions.
• Professional certifications such as CIA or FRM are advantageous.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Deep knowledge of MAS Notices & Guidelines (MAS637), IFRS9, and related standards.
• Understanding of risk governance, identification, measurement, and assessment related to MAS637 and IFRS9.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, motivated, with a passion for excellence.
• Familiarity with data analytics and statistical programming.
