Job description

We are partnering with a leading global bank to expand their Credit Analyst team supporting the Global Subsidiaries business in Singapore. This division focuses on serving the regional operations of large multinational clients, offering a full suite of banking solutions across credit, cash, trade, and markets.

This is a highly visible, high-impact role where Analysts are not siloed — you will work closely with senior Relationship Managers and clients directly. The team is known for strong credit governance, commercial acumen, and deep understanding of complex client structures, and is looking to bring in strong talent to support growth across the Asia region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Partnership with RMs - Provide full-spectrum credit analysis support to Relationship Managers, offering timely risk assessments and structuring input across a portfolio of global subsidiary clients.
  • Financial and Sector Analysis - Deliver deep-dive analysis of client financials, industry trends, and macroeconomic risks to support informed credit decisions.
  • Client-Facing Credit Work - Join client meetings to understand operating models and financial needs, helping to shape credit structures and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Portfolio Monitoring & Exception Management - Monitor portfolio quality, identify early warning signals, and handle exception cases proactively to maintain asset quality.
  • Portfolio Review & Governance - Support regular credit reviews, maintain high documentation standards, and contribute to credit governance frameworks.
  • Team Contribution & Knowledge Sharing - Share learnings from exception cases and best practices across the team to drive consistent, high-quality credit output.
  • Mentorship & Talent Development - Guide and support junior analysts, graduate trainees, and interns through active mentorship and peer review.
  • Project Support - Contribute to special projects and transaction workstreams alongside senior Credit and Relationship Management teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–7 years of credit analysis experience in corporate or international banking, preferably with exposure to large corporates or global subsidiaries.
  • Strong command of financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, and credit writing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Additional qualifications such as CFA or CPA are advantageous.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present credit views to internal stakeholders and participate in external client discussions.
  • Highly accountable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
