Job description

A leading bank is seeking an experienced AVP/VP – Credit to join its Credit team. This team is responsible for reviewing new loan applications and managing an active credit portfolio across APAC, with a focus on structured financing including leveraged/LBO and NAV-based fund financing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess new credit applications and monitoring submissions; approve or recommend decisions per authority matrix.
  • Analyse financials, projections, deal terms, and structures.
  • Monitor portfolio risks and manage non-performing exposures.
  • Provide feedback to front office on credit structuring and risk mitigants.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Legal, and Front Office teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in corporate credit or front office roles.
  • Exposure to leveraged/LBO or NAV fund financing (LBO highly preferred).
  • Strong financial analysis and credit structuring skills.
  • Proficient in Excel; degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making ability.
