We are looking for a self-driven and independent individual to join our Human Capital team at Maybank Singapore. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Rewards, Industrial Relations, and Payroll and play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and delivering strategic initiatives in alignment with the bank’s goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a subject matter expert in compensation & benefits, providing strategic advisory to key stakeholders.
Design, implement, and manage total rewards programmes aligned with the bank’s rewards philosophy.
Oversee the annual compensation review and incentive programmes to promote a pay-for-performance culture.
Participate in job and salary benchmarking, analyse market data, and stay abreast of market trends to propose rewards strategies that position the bank competitively or in alignment with best practices.
Develop and manage competitive benefits programs that enhance the bank's employee value proposition.
Manage operations related to benefits programmes.
Partner with key stakeholders in annual manpower planning and budget forecasting.
Collaborate with unions on labour-related matters and negotiations.
Develop, review, and maintain up-to-date rewards policies.
Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with all operational, audit, and regulatory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in rewards.
Proven experience in designing, managing, and implementing rewards programs within medium to large organizations.
In-depth knowledge of compensation & benefits principles, methodologies, legislative regulations, and compliance, as well as accounting expertise.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with knowledge of macros, dashboards, and automation being a plus.
Prior experience in the Financial Services and/or Banking sector is advantageous.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and strategically minded, with the ability to anticipate business needs and work independently with high initiative.
Capable of thriving under pressure and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
