Job summary

DBS Bank is seeking an AVP, Specialist in Performance/Financial Planning & Support within Group Marketing & Communications. The role provides finance, risk and control guidance across six core markets (SG, HK, TW, ID, IN, CN) with emphasis on overseas locations.

You will help manage monthly financials, support budget exercises, risk management activities, and act as a liaison with GM&C COO to resolve queries with SMEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Regional exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different markets.
• Resourceful and comfortable working in ambiguity.
• Perform effectively under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide finance, risk and control support and guidance to ensure alignment and compliance with Group guidance.
• Help manage monthly financials (e.g., support intragroup billing, vendor itemised reports, and oversee monthly expenses for overseas locations).
• Provide support to budget management exercises, including initiative/enhancement and direct expenses.
• Support and perform risk management related activities (e.g., RCSA testing, risk culture & awareness activities, regional sharing).
• Monitor queries to GM&C COO and work with SMEs to provide guidance (e.g. TPRM, NORR/ORR, GL Accounts, Procurement, BCM).
• Support all ad hoc matters as required by GM&C COO.
