Job Description - AVP, Regional Business Planning Manager, Global Transaction Banking (250000I8)

The division office of Global Transaction Banking (GTB) supports the regional strategy execution by aligning regional delivery, advancing business controls and digital solutions innovation through identifying new flows in emerging economies and shaping future-ready-risk-aligned products.

What you do

Support the strategic growth and regional expansion GTB business by driving end-to-end business planning processes, performance management and project executions. The role will partner closely with GTB HQ & country heads & other internal stakeholders.

1. Performance Monitoring & Business Analytics
   • Develop dashboards to optimize & streamline reporting to drive division’s strategic initiatives.
   • Analyse division financial and business driver reporting, including data analytics for management reviews, strategic planning, key performance indicators.
2. Business Support & Strategic Planning
   • Serve & Support as a liaison between HQ internal & external stakeholders.
   • Ensure timely & accurate business submissions including Group submissions, strategy papers, business cases.
   • Support preparation of materials for internal forums, client engagements, and external conferences relevant to regional TB growth.
   • Lead market analysis and opportunity assessment in core, emerging ASEAN & Greater China markets.
   • Facilitate division leadership, workshops, and forums.
   • Support GTB’s marketing strategy working with GWB Marketing and Group Brand and Communications, including industry and related events (awards, townhalls, websites and email communications).

Reporting to Head of Business Planning, Division Office, Global Transactions Banking

Who you are

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance or related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in business planning, corporate banking or transaction banking as a preference.
• Good understanding of transaction banking products, regional experience in ASEAN, Greater China markets are added advantages.
• Excellent analytical skills: proficiency in financial analysis, data interpretation and decision-making.
• Proficient in preparing presentation decks; presentation with visual impact.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills a must; with ability to interface and influence at all levels within the organisation.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, navigate across teams & deliver under tight deadlines.
• Technical skills
  • Power BI, Tableau for dynamic dashboards, visual storytelling;
  • Advanced Excel skills for data modelling forecasting, scenario analysis.
  • Collaboration platforms.
