Job summary

DBS Asia Hub seeks a hands-on software/platform engineer to design, deploy, and operate cloud-native apps and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. You will build CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes, and support AWS/Azure/GCP environments.

You will collaborate with security, AI, and operations teams to ensure scalable, reliable platform solutions and contribute to observability, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures, system integration, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and production support.
