Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is seeking a Technology professional to join our Group Technology team in Singapore. The role involves building and maintaining scalable web applications using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks, along with microservices and CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with technologies like Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, MariaDB, OpenShift OCP, Docker and Kubernetes, across cloud and on-prem environments. Strong collaboration across tech teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills and hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Redis, ReactJS/AngularJS, Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB, OpenShift OCP, Linux, JBoss.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container tech such as OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Domain knowledge in Core Banking is advantageous.
• Good communication and ability to engage with diverse tech teams and stakeholders.

• Gather and refine specification and requirements based on technical needs.
• Analyse and optimise performance and reliability of the applications.
• Design and develop responsive Web applications using React JS/Angular JS.
• Design and develop Microservices or Restful API/Webservices.
• Create and maintain software automation using CI-CD.
• Follow Agile software methodologies for development.
• Write automated unit, feature and regression test suites.
• Hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Redis, ReactJS/AngularJS, Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB, OpenShift OCP.
• DevOps and CI/CD knowledge (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, unit test, TDD).
• Familiarity with MariaDB and MongoDB databases.
• Knowledge across domains, programming languages and client environments.
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes is an added advantage.

Responsibilities
