Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Operations Lead who excels in both operational excellence and process improvement. This role is well-suited for individuals who excel in dynamic and complex environments, has a strong track record in driving digital transformation, and can effectively balance the demands of day-to-day operations while leading transformation initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate and timely execution of core operational activities, such as listing and trading operations, clearing and settlement, custodial services, AML/KYC, etc.
  • Balance Operations and Transformation efforts: Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day operations while identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Process Reengineering: Conduct in-depth reviews of existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Design improved and optimized workflows, and lead implementation across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, align on objectives, and deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and support projects related to the development and enhancement of securities products, platforms, and operational capabilities.
  • Team Support: Support the team manager in fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and agile team culture.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience in operations, preferably in large enterprises.
  • Proven experience in rolling out process improvements using frameworks like Lean Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
  • Experience balancing BAU operations with strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in the financial services sector, with a focus on Securities (e.g., trading, clearing, settlement, custody).
  • Familiarity with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations relevant to SGX operations.
