Job description

This is a key role that manages the end-to-end investment process. The key areas of responsibilities include originating potential deals, structuring and executing deals, and contributing to maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Source and analyze investment opportunities
2. Responsible for structuring and executing the acquisition of data centre assets in Asia Pacific and Europe
3. Conduct financial modelling to assess/support acquisitions; present financial analysis to key stakeholders
4. Conduct and coordinate legal, tax, technical, and financial due diligence for assets to be acquired, working with advisers/consultants
5. Prepare investment papers, presentations, and other materials as required
6. Review legal documents
7. Prepare regular sector research to stay updated on trends and market news, including analysis of financial, market information, and analyst reports from sources such as Tier One Research, Bloomberg, Data Center Dynamics, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Business, Real Estate Management, or equivalent from a reputable university
• Experience in investment management, private equity, funds management, or investment banking is essential
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including conducting investment, financial, and commercial due diligence
• Data centre technical knowledge and experience are advantageous
• Strong report writing, verbal, financial modelling, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
