Job summary

A leading buy-side firm based in Singapore is seeking a professional to support its Infrastructure Private Equity team. The ideal candidate will drive investment strategy and manage a significant global infrastructure portfolio. This role requires a solid background in Infrastructure M&A, Private Equity, or Investment Banking, along with strong financial modelling and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of relevant Infrastructure M&A, Investment Banking, or Private Equity experience.
• Mandatory infrastructure knowledge and deal experience.

Job description

• Based in Singapore
• Leading buyside firm
• Sector focus in Infrastructure, candidates must have some relevant Infra background (Global coverage)

Responsibilities would include:

• Support Infrastructure Private Equity Chief Investment Officers (CIO) and senior management in evaluating investments, defining the role of Infra within the broader firm’s portfolio
• Help shape the composition of and outlook for one of the largest private infra portfolios globally
• Develop Infrastructure investment strategy and commitment targets, work with investment teams on portfolio construction, sector strategy, asset allocation, performance management and measurement
• Work with investment deal teams globally to support diligence, deal evaluation and underwriting of investment opportunities
• Develop an independent assessment of each investment for IC team
• Staying abreast of sector trends and developments - Develop strategic insights, identify and monitor market trends impacting infrastructure markets and on investment portfolio

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant Infrastructure M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Management consulting experience.
• Mandatory to have infrastructure knowledge/ deal experience, open to ALL candidates globally with right experience
• Well-developed skills in financial modelling, valuation, research and deal assessment
• Good communication skills and process management experience
• Positive work attitude, high energy with drive and initiative
• Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and demonstrate maturity and integrity to interact confidently with senior colleagues
