Job summary

OCBC Group is seeking a senior Risk & Governance professional to strengthen the risk, governance, and compliance framework. The role drives risk monitoring, control reviews, audit management, data analytics, and transformation initiatives, with a pathway to developing future leaders in risk management.

The position requires 8–12 years in risk/ governance roles, international experience, and a strong data analytics capability. 100% in-office role based at Tampines, Singapore.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Risk Management, Governance, Internal Audit, Compliance, or related fields.
  • Experience in international or multinational organizations.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance, and internal controls.
  • Experience in audit assurance reviews, risk assessments, and control evaluations.

  • Support Head of Risk & Governance in managing risk and governance framework.
  • Conduct risk assessments and monitor key risks across the business.

General Description

Support the Head of Risk & Governance in strengthening the risk, control, governance, and compliance framework across the organization. The role will drive risk monitoring, control effectiveness reviews, audit management, data analytics, business continuity, and process improvement initiatives to ensure a robust and sustainable control environment. This position is also intended to develop future Risk & Governance leaders with strong risk management, analytics, audit, and transformation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head of Risk & Governance in managing the risk and governance framework. Conduct risk assessments and monitor key risks across the business. Develop and maintain risk dashboards, reports, and analytics to identify trends and control weaknesses. Review and enhance risk controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate internal and external audits and track remediation of audit findings. Support business continuity planning and resilience initiatives. Lead process improvement projects to strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risks. Prepare monthly risk reports and present key risk insights to management. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to promote a strong risk and control culture. Support special reviews, assurance activities, and governance initiatives as required. Utilize data analytics for risk management, interpret data trends, identify control weaknesses, and translate insights into actionable risk mitigation measures.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Governance, Internal Audit, External Audit, Compliance, or Operational Risk.
  • Experience working in international or multinational organizations.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance, and internal controls.
  • Experience in audit assurance reviews, risk assessments, and control evaluations.
  • Demonstrated track record in leading process improvement and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in payment operations, financial services, shared services, or banking environments is advantageous.
  • Strong in data analytics for risk management, including the ability to interpret data trends, identify control weaknesses, and translate insights into actionable risk mitigation measures.
