Job description

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for financial accounting, MAS reporting and daily control of the bank’s Balance Sheet.

You will be responsible for the daily control of the balance sheet and preparing journal entries for monthly closing. You will prepare and review reports for submission to MAS and will produce statistical reports and surveys, as required. You will review the computation of the daily compliance ratios and prepare tax returns. You will also participate in ad-hoc projects and assist in the year-end external audit activities.

Pre-requisites

1. Degree holder or ACCA qualified
2. At least 7 years of related work experience in banking industry
3. Familiar with MAS Banking Act and Regulations
4. Able to work independently and be meticulous
