Job summary

Responsibilities

Contract Management

  • Assist business teams in drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring consistency and accuracy of legal and commercial terms within the Singapore office.
  • Collaborate with business teams to support daily service delivery and facilitate successful contract execution.
  • Maintain the central contract registry and repository, ensuring all contracts are current and properly stored.
  • Work with business teams, management, and head office to ensure contract terms comply with industry regulations and corporate policies.
  • Escalate contractual and compliance risks to superiors in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with business units to ensure timely renewal and amendments of contracts, tracking key deadlines and milestones.
  • Support vendor onboarding and offboarding processes, liaising with business teams and vendors to meet requirements and align expectations.
  • Monitor contract governance related to milestones, deadlines, and obligations, ensuring compliance and performance.

Vendor Management

  • Serve as subject matter expert on centralized outsourcing processes, ensuring continuous operation.
  • Support project teams with outsourcing vendors and sourcing activities.
  • Implement and oversee vendor contract management, including onboarding, offboarding, monitoring, and governance.
  • Assist business teams with queries related to vendor management processes, adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Prepare performance evaluations, conduct vendor reviews, and perform due diligence checks in line with policies and regulations.
  • Review and recommend improvements to vendor and outsourcing management procedures.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all vendor-related documentation.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into contract and vendor performance and other key metrics.
  • Utilize tools like advanced Excel or other analytical software for data management and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Law, or Information Technology.
  • Deep knowledge of MAS Notices and Guidelines, including Outsourcing Risk Management guidelines.
  • Familiarity with industry practices ensuring agreements meet commercial and statutory requirements.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in project management and vendor contracts.
  • Experience with IT projects or IT service agreements, understanding current IT trends and their business implications.
  • Vendor management experience in the banking industry.
  • Understanding of contract management processes and standard contractual terms.
  • Experience in Outsourcing or Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) within banking or similar industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent contract writing and documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, flexible and disciplined approach.
