Responsibilities

The AVP will lead the strategic planning and management of application infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems. This includes overseeing infrastructure components, enforcing security policies, and coordinating with development and delivery teams. The role also involves driving automation and modernization initiatives, managing development and testing environments, maintaining documentation standards, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring 24/7 support readiness.

Requirements

You should have a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise infrastructure and experience in a leadership role. You will possess deep technical expertise in multiple areas such as Linux systems, databases (IBM DB2), middleware (WebSphere, Apache), messaging platforms (Kafka, Redis), virtualization (VMware), and enterprise networking. Strong architectural insight, troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with security standards are essential. The role also demands excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project execution capabilities, along with a cooperative and resilient mindset.
