Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business, is a world leader in aircraft engines. This role focuses on applying FPI, MPI and UT methods, interpreting results, and documenting findings as per procedures.

You will navigate engine manuals and support engineering scopes while conducting system checks and calibrations. Qualified candidates hold a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and NAS410/EN4179/PCN/ASNT/SNT‑TC‑1A certification, with at least 2 years in aerospace and 400 hours FPI.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 400 hours FPI experience in aerospace with 2+ years on aircraft structures or engines.
• Current NAS410/EN4179/PCN/ASNT/SNT-TC-1A certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply FPI, MPI, and UT and document results per procedures.
• Navigate engine manuals and align with engineering work scopes.
• Conduct system performance checks per process standards.
• Set up, standardise, and operate NDT tooling and equipment.
• Perform routine calibration and servicing of test media and equipment.
