Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte ltd in Singapore is seeking an Avaloq Developer to support our client with Avaloq parameters, scripting and integration across wealth management workflows.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business users and technical teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions, implement best practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to end-to-end delivery including testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years hands-on Avaloq development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking Platform and APS scripting.
• Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL and interface development.
• Familiar with SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Singapore/APAC banking clients.
• Avaloq certification (ACC/ACP) preferred.
• Experience with Avaloq 4.x / ACP migration.

Responsibilities

• Perform Avaloq customisation and parameterisation.
• Develop and maintain Avaloq scripts (APS), PL/SQL, reports and interfaces.
• Support end-to-end delivery from requirements to post-production.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Operations to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Avaloq best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Support integration with payments, channels, trading, CRM, and compliance.
• Assist with release management and environment support.
• Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT.

Job Description: Avaloq Developer

Tech Aalto is seeking an experienced Avaloq Developer to support our client in enhancing, customising, and maintaining its Avaloq Core Banking Platform. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Avaloq parameterisation, scripting, interfaces, and integration, along with a solid understanding of wealth management and banking processes.

You will work closely with business users, functional analysts, and technical teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions within the Avaloq ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Avaloq customisation and parameterisation (objects, workflows, data model, user interface).
• Develop and maintain Avaloq scripts (APS), PL/SQL, reports, and interfaces.
• Support end-to-end delivery: requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Operations to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely fixes.
• Ensure solutions follow Avaloq best practices, coding standards, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Support integration with surrounding systems (payments, channels, trading, CRM, compliance).
• Assist with release management, configuration, and environment support.
• Conduct unit testing, assist with SIT/UAT, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Skills & Experience Required

Must-Have Skills

• 3–10+ years of hands-on experience as an Avaloq Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking Platform, including:
  • Avaloq parameterisation
  • Avaloq scripting (APS)
  • Data model & object modelling
  • Transactions, booking workflows, and business modules
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL experience.
• Experience with interface development (e.g., Avaloq OFS, REST/SOAP APIs, message queues).
• Good understanding of Private Banking / Wealth modules:
  • Payments
  • Client onboarding & KYC
  • Securities trading & order management
  • Corporate actions
  • Portfolio management
• Exposure to SDLC, Agile delivery, and DevOps practices.

• Avaloq certification (ACC/ACP).
• Experience with Avaloq 4.x / ACP migration,
• Knowledge of integration patterns and cloud-based architecture.
• Experience working with Singapore or APAC-based banking clients.
