Job summary

Tecnoprism Pte Ltd seeks a visionary Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architectural design and governance for Avaloq Core Banking and Wealth Management platforms. You will bridge business needs with technical execution, driving standardization and large-scale transformation.

Guiding platform harmonization and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, you will mentor teams and collaborate with ITSM for BAU operations, while avoiding prerequisite certifications for ABR/S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience designing end-to-end architectures for Avaloq Core Banking and Wealth Management platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end architectural design, integration, and governance of our Avaloq Core Banking and Wealth Management platforms. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, driving platform harmonization, standardization, and large-scale transformation initiatives.

You will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, ensuring all solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and operational governance. Please note that an Avaloq Certified Professional (ABR/S) certification is not a prerequisite for this position; we prioritize deep core banking expertise, architectural mastery, and stakeholder leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance/Information Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in design end-to-end architectures for the Avaloq Core Banking platform and its surrounding wealth management ecosystem.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical solution blueprints.
• Conduct thorough impact assessments and feasibility studies on proposed platform changes, customizations, and upgrades.
• Define integration architectures utilizing APIs, microservices, and middleware to connect Avaloq seamlessly with external systems, third-party vendors, and legacy infrastructure
• Drive platform harmonization and standardization across business units to minimize customization and lower the total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Ensure strict alignment of the Avaloq platform roadmap with overarching Enterprise Architecture (EA) standards and security protocols.
• Establish and enforce architectural governance frameworks, conducting design reviews and technical gate assessments.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to development, configuration, and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the architectural lead for critical business transformations, platform migrations, and version upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with IT Service Management (ITSM) to ensure a smooth transition from project delivery to business-as-usual (BAU) operations, maintaining platform stability and performance.
• Core Banking Expertise: Extensive, proven track record working as a Solution Architect specifically within the Avaloq Banking Suite.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Core Banking and Wealth Management functions (e.g., Portfolio Management, Securities Trading, Asset Management, CRM, Compliance, and Payments).
• Integration Patterns: Strong proficiency in modern integration technologies, including RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, Kafka, and ESB.
• Methodologies: Solid experience working in both Agile/Scrum delivery models and structured waterfall frameworks.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification Exceptions: ABR/S (Avaloq Banking Runner/Scripting) certification is NOT required. Enterprise Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus but not mandatory.
