Job summary

EXASOFT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Avaloq developer to support banking and wealth management platforms in Singapore.

You will configure, customize, and extend Avaloq applications to meet complex functional requirements and ensure smooth operation across payment and settlement workflows. The role requires hands-on Avaloq development, AMI integrations, Oracle PL/SQL and shell scripting, plus collaboration with business teams, testing, and production support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Avaloq development or customization in banking/financial services.
• Strong experience with Avaloq application configuration and development.
• Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL for development and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Avaloq Message Interface (AMI) and integrations.
• Experience in Avaloq workflows, forms, validations and notifications.
• Experience supporting payment flows involving SWIFT or CHAPS messaging.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting and file-processing automation.
• Experience across development, testing, UAT, deployment and production support.
• Experience in financial-services processes such as payments, securities, FX, settlement, or corporate actions.
• Avaloq certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Avaloq solutions for banking and wealth management.
• Configure and customize Avaloq applications per requirements.
• Develop Avaloq components including workflows, forms, validation rules, notifications, and reports.
• Develop Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and SQL queries for processing.
• Implement Avaloq interfaces and integrations using AMI and file-based methods.
• Support payments-related application functionality and associated banking message flows.
• Investigate application issues, perform root-cause analysis and fixes across Avaloq apps.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, deployments, and post-production support.
• Work with business analysts and functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and development effort estimates.
