- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of AV equipment (projectors, microphones, speakers, control systems, etc.)
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal AV system performance
- Identify and troubleshoot AV faults or performance issues
- Clean and inspect AV components (cables, connectors, lenses, screens, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning AV hardware
- Replace defective components or cables
- Coordinate with vendors or suppliers for part replacements when needed
- Maintain service logs and repair records
- Assist users during AV setup for meetings/events
- Provide basic AV training to end-users if required
- Respond to service requests or helpdesk tickets
- Monitor and manage AV equipment inventory
- Ensure proper storage and labelling of AV assets
- Arrange and test backup equipment as needed
- Support AV systems integrated with lighting, conferencing, or automation systems
- Ensure all AV equipment is compliant with safety and facility standards
