A leading company is seeking an AV Media Specialist to train students in AV management and maintain the Public Address systems. The role involves working with school staff to support events, ensure equipment functionality, and assist students with media projects. Candidates should have experience in photography and video editing, with a Nitec or higher certification preferred.
* Train AV CCA students to manage Public Address systems during assembly and school events.
* Maintain PA systems in school – monitor, troubleshoot, provide maintenance, and escalate unresolved problems to relevant vendors; coordinate on-site installation and repair works.
* Manage AV equipment during major school events.
* Handle all AV set-up requests for school events, ensuring requests by staff and external parties (pre-approved by P/VPs/HOD ICT/SH ICT/ICT Manager) are met.
* Maintain inventory and loan records of AV and media equipment.
* Respond to staff requests for AV/Media technical support during lessons.
* Advise HOD ICT, SH ICT, and ICT Manager on AV and media needs, working with vendors to propose solutions.
* Assist in purchasing AV/media equipment and services, following procurement guidelines.
* Assist in condemning outdated AV/media resources.
* Manage AV equipment in classrooms and special rooms, monitoring usage and maintenance on a termly basis.
* Support school events and activities, e.g., CNY Concert, Farewell Assembly, College Day, weekly assemblies.
* Support Project Work Department during end-of-year A-level PW Oral Presentations, including video recording.
* Train AV Club, Media Club, and JP Press students in equipment use and event operation.
* Guide Media Club students in video editing and JP Press students in photo editing.
* Maintain and upload content for school TV broadcast system and TV Wall.
* Provide photography, recording, and editing services for school events and ad-hoc requests, creating montages for college events.
* Perform other duties as assigned by Principal, Vice Principals, HOD ICT, SH ICT, and ICT Manager.
* Experience in photography and creating video montages.
* Proficient in photo and video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.
* A dynamic team player with good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Possess at least a Nitec or higher certification.
