A leading company is seeking an AV Engineer for on-site support in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Engineering and at least two years of experience in AV systems. Location: Client Site base in Changi/Tampines/ Raffles area (can choose project site)
Responsibilities:
To provide support in the implementation and operation of all aspects of audio visual,video conference, display and presentation technologies used in the client’s premises.
Assisting in the provision of support for internal and external events.
To carry out routine testing of equipment to diagnose, log and report operational faults.
Working with our team to assist in the diagnosis and rectification of faults to ensure thatall systems are fully functional and that equipment and system down time are kept to aminimum.
To ensure any paperwork is completed on time and filled out completely, as required.
Support in-house Video Conferencing technology
Clean and maintain audio and video equipment and ensure that they are stored properly
Diagnose, test and resolve A/V equipment and media system problems as part of theregularly scheduled preventative maintenance cycle
Operate and monitor equipment during meetings, such as sound levels, remote cameras, video playback, and webcasting
Carry out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly by the room check procedure
To maintain records of equipment usage (when applicable), to make minor adjustmentsand repairs to equipment when necessary
Raise tickets for faults and liaise with relevant bodies for repairs of malfunctioningequipment
Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest
standard and functioning correctly
Assist with first line fault repairs
To carry out scheduled maintenance checks (room checks/power downs) and to write technical reports based on test results
Requirement
Diploma in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication)or equivalent.
Preferably at least two years of experience in the operation, engineering and / orinstallation of AV systems. A strong knowledge of audio, video and networkingengineering fundamentals.
Should have, if not all, most of the following industry certifications: Crestron, Zoom, QSC,Cisco, Shure, Poly
