Job summary

CAM is seeking a Manager/Deputy/Assistant Manager for AV Data Policy, Governance & Engineering to shape national data requirements and governance for autonomous vehicle data. The role spans policy specification, data flows, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure secure, compliant data handling.

The senior track adds ownership of data governance frameworks, data standards and data authority across agencies, mentoring growing teams while balancing regulatory oversight and industry

Qualifications

• Think clearly about data governance, sharing and protection and translate into workable rules.
• Bridge policy and technical implementation with credibility across teams.
• Hands-on with data analytics, SQL, APIs, data schemas and pipelines.
• Able to collaborate with engineers, legal, operations and policy teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape data policy and regulation for AV data, including what data is required and how it may be used.
• Engineer and manage data flows and standards within CAM and LTA to enable analytics and AI.
• Define data standards, schemas and contracts for system integration.
• Drive data quality, lineage and governance, ensuring trustworthiness and proper documentation.
• Bridge policy intent with implementation realities and engage stakeholders across agencies.
