Job summary

Huawei is seeking a Vision Perception Algorithm Engineer to advance research in 3D vision, world models, and perception under challenging weather. You will design, implement, and optimize algorithms for embedded platforms, collaborating with sensor fusion and robotics teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.

The role requires a PhD with strong publication records and hands-on experience in deep learning frameworks and robotics perception.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with focus on computer vision, ML or robotics perception; fresh PhDs welcome.
• Strong publications in top conferences/journals is highly desirable.
• Experience with autonomous driving or robotics platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and design vision perception algorithms (3D vision, world models, perception under adverse weather).
• Implement algorithms and optimize for embedded/edge hardware.
• Collaborate with sensor fusion, planning, and control teams for end-to-end solutions.
• Publish findings and file patents as appropriate.
