Job summary

Venti Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Data & AI Engineering Intern to join our autonomous driving team.

You will work on the data loop, solve data-governance challenges for massive fleet test data, and help build automated data pipelines and internal platforms to accelerate validation of our autonomous systems. The role focuses on Python programming, SQL basics, and Linux environments, with opportunities to explore AI agents and data visualization tooling.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing BS/MS/PhD in CS, SE, or robotics.
• Strong Python programming and Linux/Ubuntu experience.
• Familiarity with SQL and data governance basics.

Responsibilities

• AV Scenario Data Mining: analyze and extract driving scenarios and edge cases from vehicle logs.
• Data Pipeline Support: build and maintain ETL scripts to parse and organize test data.
• Internal Tool Development: maintain basic features for internal dashboards.
• AI Agent Exploration: explore AI agents to assist in data analysis and generalization.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and driven Data & AI Engineering Intern to join our autonomous driving team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our data loop/flywheel, solving complex data-governance challenges for massive fleet test data using cutting-edge AI technologies (such as LLMs and AI Agents). You will play a key role in building highly efficient automated data pipelines and full-stack internal platforms, directly empowering the rapid iteration and validation of our autonomous driving systems.

Role responsibilities

• AV Scenario Data Mining: Assist in analyzing and extracting critical driving scenarios and edge cases from vehicle log data (e.g., sensor feeds, speed, trajectories).
• Data Pipeline Support: Help build and maintain automated scripts (ETL) to parse, clean, and organize massive amounts of test data.
• Internal Tool Development: Assist in maintaining and developing basic features for our internal web dashboards (e.g., visualizing test metrics or scenario statistics).
• AI Agent Exploration: Under the guidance of your mentor, explore using AI agents/bots to perform automated data analysis and assist in scenario generalization.

Required Experience

• students studying BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Solid Python programming skills and comfort working in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Strong logical thinking, a passion for autonomous driving, and a fast learner.

Bonus experience

• Basic experience with backend web development (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Basic understanding of frontend development (e.g., React, Vue.js) or visualization tools.
• Curiosity about or basic experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI Agents.
• Familiarity with Git and Docker.
